Neal Smiles Orthodontics Junior Explorer Program
Our Junior Explorer Program at Neal Smiles Orthodontics is designed to engage and excite younger siblings of our current patients as they embark on their journey to healthy smiles! Starting from birth and continuing until age 7, this program introduces children to orthodontic care in a fun and interactive way, helping them feel comfortable and involved from an early age.
As junior explorers, participants receive:
- Junior explorer t-shirt that gets stamped each time they lose a baby tooth.
- Birthday cards and stamps to celebrate their growth milestones.
- Junior explorer passport complete with their photo, where they can track their lost teeth and document their journey.
- Neal Notes* at each birthday (1 for each year) and when they come in wearing their Neal Smiles shirt (5)
Junior explorers join the excitement of orthodontic visits alongside their older siblings, building a sense of connection to Neal Smiles Orthodontics. At age 7, they graduate from the program, ready to begin their own orthodontic adventure with confidence and enthusiasm.
The junior explorer program is our way of creating memorable experiences while setting the foundation for lifelong dental health in a caring and fun environment!
Neal Smiles Orthodontics Growth & Observation Program- Neal Smiles Explorers
At Neal Smiles Orthodontics, we make tracking growth and development a fun and engaging experience with our growth & observation program! Designed for patients ages 7 and up who are not quite ready to begin treatment, this program ensures their smile is closely monitored while keeping the process exciting and rewarding.
Here’s how it works:
- Regular check-ins: Patients visit a special observation room every 6 to 12 months, where we carefully track their growth and dental development.
- Spin to win: After each visit, patients get to spin our prize wheel for a chance to win fun rewards.
- Neal Notes*: Earn points for wearing a Neal Smiles t-shirt, arriving on time, and following directions—building great habits along the way.
The growth & observation program is all about creating a positive experience as we monitor your smile’s progress. By the time patients are ready to start treatment, they’re fully engaged and excited for the next step in their orthodontic journey.

Neal Notes
Neal Notes are for every phase of your journey and are for both our explorers and patients… young and old. You can redeem Neal Notes for fun prizes and gift cards and there are many ways to earn them. Dr. Neal likes to celebrate success during treatment and Neal Notes are given for:
- Being on time to your appointment
- Wearing your Neal Smiles t-shirt
- Proper oral hygiene
- Following instructions and compliance
- Nothing loose or broken
Neal notes are also given for community involvement, volunteer work, and great grades!
